Been dealing with this for a month or so now. Though it was a woodpecker at first but that *tap* *tap* *tap* didn't sound right and have never seen a woodpecker. Thanks for the article. We have a ton of Jays around and they must be the source.

if your feeding them?

they are using the sills as a bench to open
the sunflower seeds on.... not pecking holes in them

they have been regularly visiting my coarse sand pile
but at the moment its covered

try some brown egg shells
