Lightbulb A job for everyone!

I have been giving this some thought and even though it seems controversial I can't resist the impulse to post /discuss it.

Legalization nationwide of prostitution

If low income wage earners had the option to earn exponentially more money they might leave their current job making it available for others who won't pursue the same occupation. I also feel once the stigma attached to prostitution is removed it will actually improve the relationships of couples by eliminating the use of sex as a weapon.
Pretty much everyone has sex and if they are consenting adults why does an exchange of money make the sex illegal?

I agree. And not to make this political - but if abortion is legal because of a womans right to choose, how come she doenst have that right when it comes to selling her own body/services?

Regulate, tax and monitor it. I really dont see what ill can come of it.

making s-b.com a kinder, gentler place for all

If my wife could go to sleep without me grabbing her goods and putting my junk on her she'd be thrilled. I would even bet that I'd get a hooker gift certificate from her for my birthday and Christmas.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Between that and the weed we would cut down on crime across the board and generate craploads of much needed jobs and revenue that is desperately needed to help the economy. The prostitutes and weed will NEVER go away.

And you can't export these jobs overseas..."Make it in America".
And there would obviously be more women, so lets be honest; a woman with money is a happy woman for the most part. Add to that their exceptional skill when it comes to using money and this economy would bounce right back.

A permit or license to grow with prices based upon number of plants being grown would generate a boatload $$$$ overnight, certainly before November.

Ok - guys ... as Humorous a topic as this can be
i think this should be a more serious discussion

i have often thought of the same thing because of
all the Kidnapping and resulting deaths of young girls
that continue to happen. It should not in the least
change the laws of Adultery.... if you are MARRIED.

Adultery is gonna happen regardless of prostitution being legal or illegal.

They allow fighters to beat eachother silly in prize fights like Boxing or MMA . They even allow it to happen in big arenas , convention centers and on TV, etc. So you can beat someone to or near to death on TV(for money) but sex in a closed room between consenting adults (for money) is banned. What a world.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies."
C. S. Lewis

LOL...my wife would love to be a madame at one of those houses. We talked about it only last week. Cash sales...no credit cards or records..pick them up, show them a good time with the girls, and drive them to the parking lot...

She is definitely not a typical woman...perhaps being a waterman's daughter helps...

sort of a side topic ...but the guy in SAN francisco offering free sperm for mothers
who want to get pregnant since their husband is shooting blanks,

got shut down by the food and drug administration for creating a "product"
that's unregulated (he hasn't been tested for disease's) in other words

so the feds are willing to allow consensual sex between adults with no thought of any testing required
.... yet when a service is offered (even free) they are....

saying it's a $100,000.00 dollar fine and a year in jail as a maximum sentence
for each violation..... so i agree with SALT HEARTS evaluation

Except liberal politicians would call it a tax on the poor, just as some have done with regards to the cigarette tax.
