anybody have any tips for making a grommetizer?

I only need to bend about 30 belly grommets to finish this batch of plugs.

saw the thread about cutting the pipe length wise.

anyone have any tricks/tips to make one?

Thanks-

Chef

I think perhaps Wallace came up with it

You can borrow any one of these Chef.

Same concept. I got the aluminum off the web for a couple of bucks a piece.

just get a 3/4 inch piece of metal and drill the appropriate holes in it and then just use a rubber hammer to fold them over. The top piece of metal used to put over the pipe sometimes mars up the finish on the grommet but not a problem with a rubber mallet.

Shorten the bolts and use them as guide pins. Close the unit in a vise. It's so much easier.
