Weekend Plans

Whassupp for the weekend??? Nice conditions to be out fishing!!!

I'll be fishing the Tri-State Tourney down the Cape for the weekend. Every year, clubs from Mass, Maine, & Rhody compete one leg in each state for bragging rights, prizes, yadayadayada... The Tourney is catch and release with the points system favoring schoolies instead of nice fish....

Maine has their leg of the Tri-State in Sept and Rhody in October...

Good luck...

RE:Weekend Plans

Gonna be tough to get some time in fishing this weekend. Hopefully I'll just get fed up with all the household handyman stuff and jump ship for a few hours. Got to get lots done this weekend so I can fish with the Jersey boys end of next week.

Gonna get out and take advantage of the excellent weakfish action we are having here in CT while it lasts.
Would love to get up the Rhody after reading #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s report, but can't get enough time.
Good luck all!

RE:Weekend Plans

Every time Marc Z tells me he hammered the weaks at the West Haven Sand Bar, I go the next day and get skunked. So, tomorrow I'm helping a co-worker launch his new 20-foot SeaCraft out of Niantic. Based on #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s reports and some other things I've heard, I think we'll head to Sugar Reef and Watch Hill. I hope the weather cooperates, I hear conflicting reports about tonight and tomorrow.

Good luck all!

Gonna launch the boat and head over to Watch Hill at day break and fish incoming tide for bass, then switch over to fluking off the pink house. First fluke trip of the year. Hard to leave behind the action up stream in the Connecticut River with the herring run still holding and the big bass now showing there presence.

RE:Weekend Plans

Jamie,
Thanks for badmouthing me, but its not my fault that you fish the wrong tides and think that you can get up at 10:00 in the morning and catch fish!
Just kidding, I've put in a lot of hours so far, and have been there sometimes at the right time, and others the wrong time.
Maybe you'll catch some fish tomorrow since you are going out with someone who knows what they are doing!
Good luck.
