Hab's Plugs Work...Well

Got a great fish off the sand last night. 44 inches, and it bottomed out my 30 lb. Boga. I' guess it was low thirties, but I know that it's my best surf caught fish. And it all happened on a yellow/white Hab's 2 oz. needle. I got two more teen sized bass on his black/purple 1.5 oz. needle as well. They were the only things the fish would bite last night (Which was a tough night thanks to the wind, but one of my spots managed to produce all three fish).

Thank you Hab.

a nice night though tired today I bet weewee is even more tired nice fishing with you ben never seen a guy go fishing with so many lures but it was like a struggle to get a fish last night the thing that finally worked a little bucktail with a peice of yellowGS rubber

Used my first Habs needle fish plug the other night and absolutely slammed fish before sunrise. Black and purple two oz. and man they could not resist. Twelve fish in an hour between 10-20 pounds. Fish on my first six casts then the damn sun came up. Me and a few other guys did some damage. One guy was throwing a mambo...minnow...black...killing them, two other guys with eels, one caught a 35 pound plus, and me with the Habs. I must stock up on those this winter. Great plugs JHabs.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Wink

Looks like I could make a lot of money retrieving all those lost Habs from the bottom of the ocean.

John, if I bring them back to you for reHab, what are they worth?

Before the Habs Guy starts getting a big head over this thread. I thought it might be appropriate to bring back this image:

It's almost a year later and (from a good source) he hasn't given up the blooberries or the bloodys, but hearing how all those big fish are being taken on HIS lures right now -- while he is stuck in the house doing home improvements -- just might put him over the edge.

Cool

I can tell you about the guy in Montauk who bought $1,000.00 worth of Hab's plugs.

The owner got so excited he sold the Needles I pre-ordered!!

the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.
