Wet!!

I got a little wet!!
That was the highlight of my night!

4' waves and a rock here and there dont mix!
Funny thing is your standing in 2' of water and when you go down you end up in the hole near the rock that the undertow created and thats 3+ feet deep! Gonna get my Aquaskinz this week!!

Well about the fishing? Crbbr,Katie,Carl and I fished 4 spots totally uneventful!! Heck we didnt even see a skunk but we sure got one!!!

had a nice nite, no stripers but got some big bumps fishing eels. found myself on a couple of rocks with a flat front on it facing the water. SPLASH ZONE but the water was warm and the clouds did manage to give some cover, had fun with the bluefish at weekapaug out front on the beach.

Didn't have the time or energy to fish the surf Sat. night, so took Scotch to my favorite pond honey hole on the "perfect tide", where he promptly showed me how to correctly fish MY spot

Think I'm going back right now, same place, same tide, to redeem myself

Anyone register any fish yesterday? Specialist, Bazza, & I ran into a bunch of other people at Watch Hill. Big Surf, lotsa wind, no fish. Moved around the Hill a little to nothing, decided to move to next spot. As we were leaving we heard bass slappin' and tried to find - no dice! ^$%4@# drives ya nuts sometimes.

At location #2 (Charleston), we started getting into fish and caught and released mostly keeper / teen sized fish.

I broke off a nice fish at one point (felt real big). Biggest fish we got were mid 30" / teen sized bass and some smaller blues... But it was defenitly a Fall Run kinda night with the wind, spray, and big surf...

So far - Salthearts fish is still standing!

Toby - while you were in that one spot, we went out and to the right of the other spot there were bass slappin'. Couldn't locate where and the slaps were not consistent...

Didn't you go up to the other side of Q say midnightish or so?

John, i never made it out there. i went back to the truck, had a beer, and i was all done! if i wasn't gonna be out for 5 days this coming weekend, i may have gone anyway. i kinda wish i had stayed out, though, as the rain kept me from fishing sunday morning.

oh, i almost forgot, T-Bone was with us saturday night, too. he faired as well as the rest of us.

Fished RI from last WED - TUES morning. Mainly fished Week breachway. Caught 8 keeper bass in the 20 and 30 lb range, biggest one being a 42 inch bass caught on Sat night in heavy surf from Week. Ran into 3 feeding blue fish frenzies, the best one coming Tues morning (the day we had to leave of course). Estimate blues that day in the 13 to 14 lb range - GATORS. No kidding! Will diplay pic. of 42 inch bass. What a fight! Also on Sat got broken off 2X right in front of L. End Jetti, big bass.... GO YANKS......
