Look how flat those seas were!

Very effective chum, thanks Dave, that might have been helpful in catching my last fish.

What a Ball Buster. Show me a man that never got seasick and I will show you a man who is stuck on the beach. I have have self-chummed more times than I would like to admit. Good humor though thats what I like about this site.

Seasicknes is a three stage occurance
Stage 1) PRAYER Oh God don't let me get sick in front of these guys I'll never hear the end of it.
Stage 2) FEAR oh God I'M gonna die
Stage 3) Take me now Lord. You finaly realize that your not going to die but you wish you would. Welcome to the clan BM.
My youngest is known around the docks in Gloucester as the Barfrocket. He didn't do well on a cod trip either. Now he only fishes the beach.

I heard that he hurls sawdust. Nothing worse than being sick when you want to fish. My fishing buddy sppent a half day feeding the fish on the Seven B's last July, now I'm afraid he will never go again.

I've never lost it and I've been in #^&#^&#^&#^& that would make even the strongest stomachs hurl. The closest I came was the Haterus storm, 52 foot racing sloop finishing up the Bermuda Circuit I was on the crew bringing her back to NY. Those were 60+ foot seas, way outide, 2 hour watches and then down below. I don't know if anyone has been on a racing sloop before, well it ain't the Ritz and when your in a hanging bunk, while the bow of the boat is rising and fallling 20 feet constantly, you feel it. I came close a few times, but never lost it. Dave up and down, follow me, up and down, no further up and down, come on Dave, up and down.

Love it to death.

Think you're gonna hurl?
Just get down on the low rail... hurl away then dunk your head quicklike.... all clean!

Surefire way to get yourself to get it over with?
