Drill Bits ???
What are the perferred materials for high quality drill bits ? I'm referring to thru drilling bits and forstner bits ? When I look in the catalogs I see Zirconium Nitrate, Cobalt, Titanium, High Speed Steel and Carbide etc.
How do they rate ???

Drill Bit source
Besides the obvious places to buy bits like wood workers warehouse , grizzly, wood workers supply and Sears who sells the high grade thru drilling and forstner bits ?
Someone recommended the Chicago Drill Company . Does anyone know anything about them ? I searched it but didn't come up with anything.

chazer,
I know where you saw that. It's not chicago, it's Ohio Drill. I buy a lot of bits from them,. Good quality and if you need help, let them know what you do and they'll hook you up.

Must be tough to make a stick with hooks or a metal lip. I put a lip on a pack of Marlboros, what sexy wiggle. I'm mental
