Indeed! My youngest wants to know why Santa is not the "leader of the world" and is very concerned about his health and how long he will live...
Merry Fishmas everyone!

I got a family reunion, all the family got together today to spend Xmas with Mom and Dad as it will likely be her last. She enjoyed it, I think she was glowing as much as the tree . Not much fishing related stuff for me, except my Son surprised me with a new Abu 6000 conventional. I told my family years ago, don't buy me fishing stuff, because 9 of 10 gifts weren't ever going to be used by me.

Got Striper. I think you got the best Christmas of All. The memories of today will be cherished forever!
As for me, My Favorite Mother in Law (She is truly a sweet heart, I'm lucky!) gave me a check large enough to buy a kayak!!! My son gave me $$$ for fly tying and several dowels to turn plugs with a note teasing me about the snow shovels!! The dowels are already half gone.... And my wife gave me the funniest pair of sock in the world. They had a diagram of various pressure points for foot massages and "other things" on them..., along with a home made polar-tec pullover with all the right size pockets to put your fishing stuff in when you're wading in cold weather.

I had my grandson sleep over only to wake me at 7:00 AM saying, "Pa, Pa, Santa Claus really did come!" Then later he came up and sat with me, gave me a hug and told me that he loved his Pa and Santa." It was a good day and that was enough for me.

a few years ago my family decided to each pull one name and buy a gift for that person...last year we decided to just by gifts for the kids (my 2 neices & nephew) and the adults gift would be getting together for the holiday. Let me tell you I have enjoyed this the most! and I dont miss opening gifts myself one bit!

I'm glad to see you all had such nice days.
Bob, good to hear your mom and dad got to spend the day with the whole family
Great pic goose!
I am pretty happy about what I got for Christmas. My wife and I didn't swap gifts as we splurged and got a new 32" TV for the living room, first new one in 15 years and the other one (used when we got it)still works fine.
My brother surprised me with a ticket to the first Patriots playoff game I am going to the game in 2 weeks
