bruce, what would you recommend me to remedy the loose screw and cap? It's on the rear end of the specialist's danny.

Without seeing it, it is hard for me to know the problem with it being loose. Maybe the wire needs to be replaced if it was not tight enough. Is the front wire loop spinning around or something? If the back washer is loose, it should not effect the plugs performance.
