				Olive Bomber Flatwing

Here's a picture (I hope) of a large Olive and White Flatwing that I used this fall up here on the North Shore. The Bomber is 7" with a flatwing tail. That worked pretty well, too. Not sure which board to post on...

		Nice fly
Did you catch fish with both types ? ?

Did ya use a sinking or intermediate line with the fly??

				Fly line, etc.

I caught fish with both of them. I'd switch to spinning gear when it got too wndy to cast the fly effectively. I generally use floating line. IN the surf and around the rock, I have more control of the line. It also suits the style of fishing I do, which is often time very slow, letting the current provide the action to the fly. If I want to fiah deeper, I'll put some split shot on the leader or add a shooting head. This way, I can still manage the line and stay in touch with the fly. It's basically trout fishing stuff transferrred to saltwater.
