Race Point George???
Does anyone in here know the old timer George that has fished race point for years, He makes his own plugs and is sorta a legand down there? When I was little On the Water did a story about him and he autographed it for me. I don't see him as much as I use to. Anyone know him?

I don't "know" him, other than that we each know each other's first names and recognize each other by sight.
He was out there a ton last year...I bought plugs from him in October.

What does he drive? I met a nice older fisherman several years ago who drove an older Jeep Wagoneer. Great guy and I see him every year. Is that him?

That's him. Full bed built into that back, and enough plugs stuffed in there that you'd think he spends his whole winter making them.....which he might.
Plugs are pretty nice, they cast a mile if that's important to you. I've seen some really nice bass caught on his pencil poppers.

If that's George, I've also fished with him a few times. A few years ago we both came upon a bluefish blitrz and spent the next few hours following them down the beach. I agree, I don't know him personally - just by sight only. A great guy to talk to though.

Could that be George Carlizon? His name was given to me last fall when I was researching the old Cape Cod Lure makers. Has some great looking needlefish hanging up at Nelsons.
