As usual Steinbrenner is gonna get the last laugh!!
This kind of deal is definitely not good for baseball!
This is all about $$ and the fact that Steinbrenner has no problem paying the luxury tax!!
Jeter, Arod, Giambi???? UHHHHHHHHH
The most popular play in baseball this upcoming year could be the intentional walk!!
Aint gonna be easy but "GO SOX"!!

All this so they can lose the Series to another NL team with speed, defense, pitching and a $60 million payroll

Pedro, Lowe, Shilling, Foulke, Wakefield - yeh, it sucks but I'll take my chances! It will taste so good when the Sox DO PUNISH the Yanks this year and then go on to win the whole thing. But my one fear is that Steinbrenner will pay to have Shilling on the ocver of SI in May - then its all over

Naw, just a frustrated Dodgers' fan. I'll root for any NL team in the Series as long as it isn't the Giants.
My guys were just sold to someone who is in hock up to his ears--and from Boston, no less Looks like a long dry spell on the horizon in Chavez Ravine.

Yay...

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day,
And when it comes to my last cast, I most humbly pray,
When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be judged, as big enough to keep.
