OMC system check

I have a 2001 70 hp Johnsom wired with the system check. I want to add a tach, water temp and trim gauge. The gauges are all Faria gauges. The tach has the system check warning lights and is a simple 8 pin plug in, but is the harness prewired for the trim and temp gauges? There are three extra wires in the harness with ring type terminals, but I can't find what they go to. Also what gauge wire should I use between the switches and gauges? Thanks!!
