I have a bone just like that, but I've never been able to figure out where it came from, my guess is that it's part of the skull of some animal since there's some bones from the spinal column
|
God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day,
And when it comes to my last cast, I most humbly pray,
When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be judged, as big enough to keep.

It's an antler from a deer that lived near the Plymouth nuclear power plant (a little too close).
Actually, I say it looks like it may have come from a turtle, possibly the belly side.

Yup, you got it Striprman. Its a skull of sailcatfish also know as the crucifixfish. These skulls have a loose bone in them and makes the skull a rattle, rattle for good luck That came from a florida gift shop. hey its that time of the season.
How'd ya know??

I'm with #^^^^^^^^^^^& - I thought it was a henweigh. If not that, maybe a mattayogi.
