MBBA Beach Cleanup Saturday AM at Race Point, Sunday AM at Nauset!
Try to finally meet Mr. Habs Saturday at the Goose.
Get some more gear ready, watch a soccer game or two, and, uh, try to make a trip to a certain... "spot" either Sat. evening, or Sunday evening

Freshwater bass fishing saturday with my son.
Striped bass hunting on sunday in the Buzzards Bay area. Was down there for a few hours this morning with my brother and there were no signs of fish from Mattapoisett to Mass Maritime. Also checked out the Herring Run in the Canal and some fish were seen.

A last hurrah of partying with my friends before fishing once again takes over my life. NFL draft all weekend with Sox and thoughts of fishing mixed in during moments of sobriety. Got to finish getting stuff ready, ie exchnage waders, mail off old jacket, pick up reels from Belsan's, get rod racks on truck. But I got three days to do it all.

Ugh..for the next 5 days its me 2 kids and a puppy. Wife out of town. I got my hands full but I may swing down at dusk on sat with the gang and make a few casts, most of my gear is still in winter storage but its time I get off my butt and reactivate that stuff. I think I can find a reel with some line on it and slap it on a rod for a few test casts...
The kids like playing with fishing tackle so I may take it down and go thru what I have and organize it for the fishing season. I picked up A LOT of new stuff this winter. Mostly little stuff but plently of it.
Having the engines checked over, decarbed and tuned...one needs some parts (lefty) and a new system check gauge... they are pretty busy down there it could be a couple weeks before I get the boat back...thats ok, I generally like surf fishing the spring at night anyway. I have a lot more I want to do to the boat this year so I will be looking at a later launch this year...Probably Mid May.
I would like to get a herring cage and put a few in there. I need to talk to my local guy.
