Question Any Of You Guys Been Down To The Race?

Someone told me the spit out to Hatches Harbor was all washed through??? Can anybody confirm or deny this?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Not sure exactly what you mean by "spit out to Hatches has been washed through", but the point is totally different this year. The Hatches outflow is more pronounced than in past years. You can only get out to the lighthouse via the fire road (or "powerline" road as some people call it). The point itself is completely washed over at high tide. Hard to explain, but it ain't the same.
