Stopped by Rodbuilders in Kingston today and there it was....on the spit spinning dry with its last flex-coat!
Its a 108-3 Lami spinning rod, built for throwing plugs! Burled cork grips, Fuji reel seat and Fuji SIC guides!
A striped bass above the fore-grip and below it it reads "Custom built for BigFish"....sweeeet! Smitty builds a great rod. Just in time for my two week vacation down the backside which starts a week from tomorrow.....you guys gonna miss me while I am gone?
Anyway, I hope to return with many stories from my two solid weeks of fishing. Got the new moon the entire second week so.....gidddiyap! Gonna pick up my rod Wednesday after it dries for a few! I was a little concerned about whether the colors I picked out would look good together, but having seen the finished product....
