Do farts scare fish away?

What if I fart im my waders, will the vibration travel through water and scare the fish? I was wondering if that was the reason fish dont come near me or my line.

I'd worry about it coming up the waders. Tighten the belt up a little

If the belt's too tight, you'll flip upside down.

Now if you were in a wetsuit..... well lets just say the "bubble has to escape somewhere. It will roll up your back and exit at the neck opening. Don't ask me how I know.
