Question The Guts and the Glory

Got my first keeper yesterday. 31" so nothing to brag about. I kept it for dinner. I usually keep fish only to eat occasionally. My question: I caught this fish in very fast water on a herring head, which it spit at me as I landed it. When cleaning my fish, I always check the stomach to see what it was feeding on. I found three more herring heads in the stomach. Are the heads of herring the last thing to digest in there? I have seen this numerous times when there were several heads but no body/tails. I have never seen a lobster in there.

What to you guys discover in the bellies of the striped ones?
