the gipper...
R.I.P.
Rest well, Ronnie.
Love him, or hate him, he was a stand up guy... we could use someone like that today, someone most of the people could get excited about.
Bush's approval at an all time low, and he is still tied, or very slightly above Kerry in the polls.... scary, like the Romney/O'Brian choice we had for Governor... two headed coin, U lose either way.

Very sad news
Regan was the first prez I can truely remember, I was in second grade when he won over Carter.
What a great man he was, He always did what he thought was right reguardless of what others were saying and was never conserned with his leagacy. Remember to fly your flags at half staff for we have just lost a truely great man.

Having been born in a Communist country there are 2 moments in my life that I will cherish forever. Meeting Pres. Ron Reagan in person when he honored us with a visit at my College graduation ceremonies in '83, and the fall of the Berlin wall in '89. Both events I owe to this great man, and I will never forget him.
Rest in peace Gipper. You made me very proud to be an American.

Definitely a stand-up guy. I used to love watching him f@#% with the press corps, cupping his hand near his ear like he couldn't hear the question and then waving good-bye.
I think he was the best pres since WWII. Even if you didn't like him, you must admit he was genuine.

He was a great man who lived a long and fruitful (and hopefully happy) life.
What's there to mourn about, with all the things he's seen and done?
We should all be so lucky!

He was a stand up guy. I was stationed at Ft. Bragg when he took office. I still vividly remember his warning over the release of the hostages within 24hrs of his taking office. We were all pumped up and ready to go. It wasn't until a year and a half later when stationed in Germany that I found out how close we were to going. He meant business.

Words to remember
President Regan said these words many years ago, and to this day they still afffet me.
If not us, then who? If not now, then when?
Words to live by. A Hero has left our world, but thanks to him, it is a better place.

See you out there,
Ron
