No clue what you mean, yesterday I worked until 3 and crashed early to fish today. Which I must say was a great way to start the long weekend, almost ever fish we stuck was a keeper and I lost a cow that damn near spooled me. I hate that, never a glimpse of the fish, just a constant steady but fast run, only to feel her rubbing me at the end until she managed to straighten the hook out. I would have loved to get a look at her, but nada. A fat 28lber or so did the same thing to me later, but at least I got a good look at her by the boat before she came unglued.

The bigger bait=bigger fish rule was out the window again today as all the fish came on a 4" split tail on a 1/2 oz Owner jig head. Everytime I scaled up the fishing slacked off, but drifting that on a long line with a good current in 18 feet of water paid off big time today.

The only bad thing was the note on my window at the end of the day. It said "sorry I nicked your tail light" and a $10 in the envelope. Nick, the damn tail light was distroyed and the bracket folded over so I couldn't even hook up the over the road strap, without kicking the crap out if it to move it. You can't even buy a marker light for a trailer for $10, what a deal.

Oh well, great day, explored some new sweat water with a friend and caught a bunch of nice fish, so life is good.

Giant Scup

All I can say is drifting a 4" bait is a great way to catch giant scup, man if I'd only had a camera, we actually thought we had some schoolies on a few times. Monsters!

phew! There was an article in the Herald that said Robert Sirois's house got hit by lightning and he was trying to put out the fire with a hose when the FD showed up, thought it was you...
