Jig ditch

Well I finally did it I got my first real fish in the ditch last night, 37" Stripa I do not know the weight because as soon as I got home I got a pic and cleaned it, was in a hurry to go out and break the boat I wish I had a program to shrink the pic! The fish I kept was one of 3 landed and I lost a bigger fish 5' from shore the line broke. I think I am starting to figure out what not to do and what to do when jigging the canal. Mike CC the Tica worked out great was very impressed with the rod and reel combo, I look forward to landing many more.
