Northeast winds 10-15knts, temps in the 50's, and 2-3ft seas, sounds like the perfect night to me. Fishing late in to the night tonight, its gunna feel like the fall.

Sorry - had teken the day off to make a LONG weekend (RI is the only day celebrating VJ Day on Monday). Was gonna work on the boat, do a little fishin' ... Had to bring my wife in to the hospital today as she is as ill as I've ever seen her (so no weekend plans). Initial results are good but we'll need to see the next couple days... So I might not be posting much the next few days...

Thanks,

John

I'm taking Clammer Bluefishing in the am, he doesn't know it yet, I figured I'd just surprise him. Sunday I'm taking one or two guests out for some fishing in the am as well, so it's a double header this weekend, too bad 3 day weekends aren't the standard. I wish this country would adopt something other than the 5 day work week and a week or two off.

Get well wishes to Mrs. R from Crafty and the Mrs. -

I took my Mrs fishing with her new rod last nite - she said it was fun even though the fish weren't real cooperative.

Boy, she can whip a plug for a newbie, but I already knew that from a BI trip many moons ago - and she loves her new stick, we just have to have her christen it.

Painting today and tomorrow it looks like, gotta take advantage of the dry weather - probably fishing with Uncle Zeke late tonite, early AM - he just got back from smallie fishing at Wachusett and brought back a new load of 7" Senko worms...oooooops, never mind

Maybe hit the surf Sunday nite with the Mrs again and try to get her first fish on the new stick -

Heyyyyyy.....wait a minute, Monday's a holiday - this will obviously mean more fishing related activities.....

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
