Permit for the Cape?

I'm heading out to the Cape for vacation in a couple of weeks to fish the Bass River. This is the first time I take my boat though. Someone told me I might need a permit to launch a boat at the Cape. I thought that was kinda silly. I have a 12ft alm with a 9.9 Johnson outboard. I don't think I'll have any problems, but I'm not 100%. Does anyone know if I need a permit or special pass to launch a boat in the river?

You shouldn't need anything special. At the mouth of the Bass River, there is a public launch area. Only have to pay a fee for parking/launching, no special permit required.

There is a town ramp on RT 28 Dennis side of the Bass river that you can launch and park for free. Sould have plenty of depth with a small boat.

Glassguy's right. Good spot to put in so you could go up or down river in search of your trophy and usually not a high volume ramp. I'll be right around there around the same time if you see a tall guy non-stop baiting the hooks of my small harem anywhere between the bridge and the public dock when we're not day trippin'.
Check PM's for some more ideas.
