Weekend plans

I was thinking about feeding the jig pirates at the bottom of the Canal on Friday night. I lost 5 jigs on last Sunday night, and my only fish came on a Gibbs Pencil popper in the am. I will have to be back early on Saturday for a wedding. Sunday morning more fishing up hear in the harbor.

Friday night for me at the canal also.
see you there Specialist, look for Chris too and Saltheart. How about Smokey? Fishpart? It's not my favorite tide Friday night but I think I can find some fish on an East. West is best

Sat. afternoon I will be heading to Maine if I can get enough work done by then. Gonna fish with Team Ledge Lizard and do some chunking Maine style.

Sunday - sleep( hopefully not in the doghouse)

Well....after about 55 hours at the office this week, I will be glad to sleep to 6 am on Saturday morning, then hit the sand early am on Sunday in the usual place...unless there is weed, then I'll try to find the guys at the canal.

Good luck and have fun!!!!!

CAT scan in a couple hours, breakfast after that, fishing with the boss (work not wife) out on the Bay tomorrow. I figure to start on the ABUNDANT blues and then switch to the elusive bass after nightfall...

Here it is the 6th of September and we have had our first snow of the year, not in the valleys but anything over 8 thousand feet got hit. Hopefully this is a good sign for the Olympics. The fishing has really been picking up at lake Powell the stripers are beginning to boil in a couple of weeks it should be a full-blown frenzy. This weekend will be working in the yard finishing some painting and a couple hours of at work.

I'm hoping to get with clamdigger tomorrow, but the way I feel right now, I'm not sure how much fun it would be. I'll see how I feel this afternoon and make a call. Slept 12 hours last night and I'll bet I could zzz out if I hit the pillow right now, just don't have any energy and I've got that funky muscle feeling now...hate that stuff. Going to try to take it slow today, maybe burn some music CD's with my old Napster files, need some new stuff for my ride to Maine next week.

I had plans of slingin' some eels tonight on the south shore than taking the boat out on the harbor early sunday am. I was also gonna take monday off to fish.

But I may be on the shelf with a pulled muscle in my back... friggin' feels like a knife going into my back when I move wrong. Got up in the middle of the night 'cause my dog was barking. I sat up and my back just started cramping or spasming or something. I took the dog out so she could eat any burglars (joke, she's a 5 year old black lab... never weighed in on GS's puppy thread) and I couldn't even lift my arm up. Its still very sore, though I've been stretching it out alot and feels a bit better. At least I can move.

I guess at this time of year, I should just play thru the pain. Just goes to show how bad for your body exercise is... I've been stepping up the workouts the last couple months in preparation for vacation. Trying to bust the gut a bit. When I just slouch off I never have these problems. Tough to pull muscles when you don't have any

Going to see the red sox fall farther back in the standings tomorrow. Hopefully I can get to the canal on sunday. What areas of the canal are people fishing this weekend?

Clamdigger, count me out, I'm going to rest up so I don't screw up my Maine trip. Plus I'm getting behind schedule on things I needed to get done before going north. Maybe on my return we can get together and maybe some bass will have moved in.

Good luck tomorrow.
