Angry Needed to buy new truck

Well the time has come for me to say good bye to my dear dear friend!!
I have tryed to hold on to it for as long as I can, but the rust war is winning

I love my truck!! It is the longest thing I have ever owned as far as Cars.
It is in perfect running order!! I keep better care of that truck then I do myself!!

I even made this cover for it this summer as I like to take the roof off and keep the rain out!!

P-TOWN BEACH, Last year

Ok Thats the old , Now on to the new!! I have been looking for a truck now for at least about a month. I have driven as far as NH this week looking at what I though I wanted.

I have been looking at 90 something Chevy, GMC EXT Cab 4x4, 5.7 motor.

Well there has been no shortage of them!! But they all needed something!! They are loaded with Leaks! I did not find one that was not leaking from the front transfer case to the CV Joint?? and there were at least 10 others that had leaking rear ends??

So I decided that it was time to move on to something else. My roots are in Ford's I have not owned one in along time but I started driving in fords and owned them for a long time befor changing to Dodge then to GM and I have been in a GM for at least 10 years now and been pretty happy till now.
For what ever reason GM is making $hity transfer case seals!! My brother had to take his 2002 GMC Truck to have a seal fixed from a recall.

I had 2 Ford trucks before I had kids and liked both of them even if they were crap boxes!!

So Here is my newest addition to the family for better or worse

1999 Ford F150 XLT 4X4, Power everything, Air, crusie, and all kinds of stuff including a factory AM, FM, Cass, 6 CD changer

So for better or worse I am now a Ford guy again!

Best of luck with it, and don't you love the ride, I bet.

new truck

Nice truck man! A good friend of mine has the same Ford and it has more room in the back seat than my Dodge 1500 Quad Cab.

Can't go wrong with this one. Only one question: Will it put you on fish?

Good luck.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Very nice, just like my truck, that 5.4 is the ballz, if i wanted to i could smoke the tires for 1/2 a block.
I have had very little trouble with my 150 since new 97'. Just the typical wearing out stuff. You'll love it.
Good Luck
