Who the hell would wanna fish some rocky, boulder-strewn place like that?

Me, that's who....

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

yea, it was pretty much a baren wasteland of all rocks.... each time I got to a new point there was more and more rocks. The holes in between got deeper and deepers until i reached the southwest end of the island. Too many rocks so i headed back and called it a night Waaaaaaay to much current to fish there....

Where are the pictures of the fish you caught that weekend? I know you landed some nice fish on some of your own plugs.

I fished it hard a few days ago...loaded with small fish. Even the CH charter boats are fishing the other islands at the moment.
Frankly I am surprised, the place should be on fire.

Flap I was off Nomans this AM...the swells have a huge wavelength and while the ocean is flat calm ...I am still rockin'.

Every now and then one crests when passing over old man.
