bait

well I gotta say, last month i was complaining about a lack of bait in the areas i fish, but this a.m. and the past 2 times I've been out I've come across pods of 4 to 5 inch menhaden... today the bass were in so thick that there were dozens of these pogies all flip flopping on the rocks... I even felt bad and threw some back in the drink.
I think this is a good sign

While checking the whitewater at some spots this morning I also found them scattering a shoreline. Looks encouraging.
