Brutal but successful!

Finally was able to beach that keeper.4 of 'em a matter of fact.Man the freakin wind howling at my back blowing 15-20 with some monster waves coming at me it might as well have been raining saltwater. The bass didn't mind. And I was able to send that 7" blurple bomber to the moon with that wind at my back.

I usually wouldn't even fish conditions like tonight.Don't know what possessed me.Wait that's a lie I know exactlly what possessed me.All I can say is thank god for neoprene waders
my Henri Lloyd jacket and my thermal hat as it was quite windy and chilly.Oh and thankyou also to all you lovely bass.

BTW. None were bigger than 30".But who cares they was keepas!

Gonna get up around 4am and try to repeat before work.
Hopefully it won't be so "breezy".

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
