is the weather a problem?
Plan on a ditch trip Friday pm...weather is lookin nasty cold, rain, windy.. What is your opinion on the weather vs fishing..Do you think it adversly affects the fishing. I am goin either way, I am hoping it keeps the # of shleps away and my little honey hole will be all mine Nothin worse than goin all the way down there and finding people lined up like it is opening trout day in PA..with a bunch of dopes almost rippin your ear off with a side-armed treble has happened more than once....... I like the "alone" thing...

I cant speak for the ditch, but in my experience, the more lousy the wind, rain and waves are, the better the fishing is.

Ahh young Ronnie. as you grow in experience you will soon learn that a boat is nothing but another avenue by which to catch fish. A true all around fisher must adapt to mother natures deal and choose weapons and techniques to match the situation. One day may require a fly rod while the next may need wire. Grow and learn my friend, grow and learn.
