The next total lunar eclipse is in 2007 so it is worth seeing...some believe fish feed heavily during this period. Personally, I think they look kewl and like to be outside when they occur...lets hope for clear skys. May as well fish...eh?
Also, they say having sex during a lunar eclipse is FANTASTIC!!!! You should pass this on to your "significant other" just incase it is cloudy or raining.

Seeing the Sox win the World Series happens only every 86 years........so if given the choice between seeing the eclipse or watching the Sox...Hmmmmmmmm......tough choice but gotta go with the Sox!
I will stick my head out the door for a look though.... ...I love that lunar stuff!
Also they say sex during a Red Sox World Series clinching game is awesome.... ....however, there is no one alive to substantiate this!

Sandman,
I went out last night during the game - not a soul out there - had all the rocks to myself. I guess the fish were watching the game too. Nice night though - still a little heave leftover from the storm.
Rocks should be barren again tonight plus the chance of seeing the eclipse. World series or fishing - what would you do?

I'm not a baseball fan or for that matter much of a pro sports fan of any kind anymore. I really don't care about who wins and wouldn't even know who is playing unless I went out there with you guys last weekend.
I will be out there tonight. Got an email from Matt who took his dogs to the beach yeasterday for a run (with rod of course) and got into them at dusk on poppers...keepers but no sea monsters. I will swing by wasque at dusk then again at the high change which occurs at the begining of the eclipse and I'll fish till full eclipse then come home for the sex!. what the hell, one way or another I hope to get lucky!
When I got home from BI I had 2 bernzy surf howdys in my mail box....Both slightly different designs from his original version I think I will take them for a test swim and hopefully give him some positive feedback.

Had a fatty on last night in newport for about 5 seconds halfway throw the eclipse, saw a massive splash and swirl, then she threw the hook and the line went limp. Gonna knock my hook size up from a 6/0 to a 7/0 or 8/0, and try to get her in tonight. That was the only action all night.
