Lyssie is on the right and she's twisted... Jess on left.
and here's a shot of Britta who got her first florida fish last friday when we went down to Disney and snuck over to the Indian River to fish a day.
This was one of a bunch of jack crevalle. We also got a bunch of good sized ladyfish and Karen broke off a nice albie before they went in b/c of the rain and wind. I fished the rest of the day and got 4 trout, 3 snook and a bunch more jacks. The trout and snook were small with the biggest of both probably 17-18" and a couple pounds.
Conditions were bad with wind, rain, muddy water from the hurricanes, a cold front so I was happy to catch alot of fish even though I didn't a redfish or nice snook.
Was sweet to get away... anyways, wanted to post a couple kid pics.

Nice Pics!
Kids are awesome!!! We are taking our 4 little urchins to FL on X-Mas eve...they don't know about it yet. Where did you stay? We will be down in Naples, but I think a drive up to Disney, some time during the week, is unavoidable.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

Thanks guys... I think they are pretty cute too.
C5 CC... we usually stay over at the coast (east) in Melbourne at one of the hotels on the ocean for a couple days. Then a couple nights at my brother-in-law's house in Orlando.
Unfortunately, all the waterfront hotels from Cocoa to Vero Beach were closed for repairs from the hurricanes. We found cheap rooms at the Disney all-star movie resort. Its the cheesiest place, but its geared towards kids and had clean rooms and a big pool, so it was fine. It had buses to the parks or free parking which was cool. We were in the "herby the love bug" wing... nice.
If the parks are busy at all, do the "fast pass" thing. Waiting in lines is not worth it. That's a great christmas present... have fun.
Dude, 4 kids... U R nutz! I'm losing my mind with 3.

Slip... pound for pound, I think they are #2 in my book behind albies. They make a good run, then they just dog you. In shallow water, they'll make real nice first run not far off an albie.
I've not had real good luck in my last few trips down there. Weather has not been good, but the jacks are pretty consistently available and its nice to fall back on them to get a good battle... especially, when the targeted species aren't necessarily cooperating.
