its a 2 way street I have helped alot of people out just as you did.

plus all my pikes are gone and want some of my own work Plus that plug is a test plug along with another pike
tagger came to the cave with dave also........
I like to test plugs and fish them also...
plus the fact i have no heet for the valcrap to dry along with linseed to dry proper makes for a cranky BM

bm...val-oil will dry in the cold....I do it . ya gotta wipe them down after they come out of the oil. otherwise they'll just stay gooie.

BOAT fish do count.

Dave if you want it you can test it on fish.
the oil works but im a hard head with boiled oil and narrowing that down. i feel the heat plays a big part.
I do have some needles that i cant scratch the paint off of with the VO. thinned,. but i need to test plugs for my self,
have no problem saying thanks for help to no one

Seems that I remember pikes being made by Bassmaster afore a lot of others got into it. Course Mike Fixter was making them lot longer than almost all. Me I just do a little each year and have been since 80' or so. Now I am a plug body shop. Bring me your crashed ones and give me a week and presto like new!

that was a good one, Ya should link it and I have swapped out how I do a few things there.
alot of the pikes I do have a narrower nose , it kinda evolved that way.
i do make them regulad to But the less wood in the nose gets the action im after
