Hi my name is ED

I'm a plugaholic..
My house is full of dust and paint fumes ,, There is work to be done on the house but I don't do it ,, I need more wood ,, more epoxy,, more wire,,more hooks,,and most of all, more time . I become aroused when I see a nice plug with kickin curves and all dressed up pretty .. I think of plugs all the time .. in work,,with the family ,, holidays . I hit a scratch ticket and sent winnings to NJ Tackle (lips).. I want to stay in my cellar and just come up for meals .. I become ill when I screw up or my epoxy has a little void I punish myself .. This is for real..No Joke.. I know there are others out there like me ..Isn't there a support group for this .. If your thinking of building plugs ,..think twice ,, Starts with a needle,,progresses to a lip junky who will spend his last dollar on a pikie lip .... whoooaaa is me ..

I feel your pain

welcome to dysfunction junction

you will notice the lack of love lately in here

wood dust, paint fumes, sniffing epoxy---> disrupts rational thought, promotes jealousy and sniping

you got lips? lucky bastage, taggage master, must go now, kick dog, snap at wife and kids

let us know if you find good rehab, maybe we get group rate

you nailed it JPI

But, if I made plugs as nice as tagger's, I'd never want the cure.

And that's straight talk, no rump swabbery!

look at it this way ED..u could be waisting your time sitting on a bar stool, sitting in your comfort chair stuffing your face with food, going shopping with your wife, doing laundry or bicking jam out from between your toes.....those things r far worse than the sickness u have..let's hope no one finds a cure.

BOAT fish do count.

Ed, you go up for meals? I made a table top that slides over my table saw, got dump chair, cook on the wood stove (cave heat source), or the elcheapo benny's microwave...... if I can find another 5 gallon bucket(portapotti), I'll have no need to go upstairs again!!!!

just last month i put in a 12" tv in the cave. even hooked it up with cable.
i don't got a microwave, but the hot plate i use to melt lead also heats the canned food. but once you start thinking about crapping in the 5 gal bucket, you've hit rock bottom.

Hi I'm the guy from Braintree, I introduced myself at the Bash'04. If you are in need of some storage space, send a few to me! I am in the exact opposite situation. I have more space and no plugs.

Wink CONTAGIOUS

Hi, my name is Dan. I've been lurking for a few months now and decided to say hello. I couldn't help but see myself in this thread. My house stinks of laquer, most of my t-shirts have epoxy on them and my wife is wondering when I'll finish the odd jobs I started in September.
All I can think about is when will my kits get here from NJ tackle.
I know I'm not crazy now its you guys.

I spend way to much time in my plug cave but I have a question. I want to put a little TV down there but am concerned about the AYC dust. Seems like when I sand on the lathe there is a cloud for awhile after. Any problems with the dust getting to the TV components???

No boat, back in the suds.

NOT ENOUGH STUFF

I FEEL BETTER NOW. I WAS BEGINNIN TO BELIEVE MY WIFE, SHE CALLS ME A PACK RAT. JUST BECAUSE I HAVE STUFF I HAVN'T USED IN 20 YEARS BUT WON'T THROW AWAY.
AND WHEN GUYS LOOK AT ME FUNNY WHEN I PULL UP WITH MY 20' CENTER CONSOLE WITH 14 RODS READY FOR ACTION, EACH WITH A DIFFERENT LURE, AND THEY ASK IF I HAVE ENOUGH RODS!
i JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE OUT WHICH PLUG I WON'T NEED AND DON'T WANT TO WASTE TIME RETYING IN THE MIDDLE OF A BLITZ. THAT REMINDS ME I NEED A COUPLE MORE ROD HOLDERS FOR THE NEW RODS I BOUGHT THIS FALL, I CAN'T LEAVE THEM HOME I MIGHT NEED THEM IN THE SPRING.
RECENTLY, SOMEONE WANTED TO BUY ONE OF MY OLD SHOTGUNS THAT I HAVN'T USED IN 15 YEARS .
WE AGREED ON A PRICE AND I TOOK IT OUT TO SHOW IT TO HIM. WHEN I HELD IT IN MY HANDS AND STARTED WORKING THE ACTION, I CHANGED MY MIND AND PUT IT BACK UNDER THE BED. HE UNDERSTOOD.
