My receiver just dropped a box on my desk from UPS. To my surprise it was 12 beautiful custom woods from #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& as part of the rod auction. These plugs are fantastic. I flyfish 99% of the time, however, after joining SB I had an itch to throw something a little larger. I can't wait to use these babies.
A new addiction (I fly fish, too).... Remember all those fish you couldn't reach in the surf with a fly rod??? Or some nice pocket water in an estaury that you'd look at and you knew it held fish??? Now you have an option :-) Just remember, sometimes the best fishing is right at your feet. It's so tempting to throw long, just because you can.
