Outer Banks, NC late Fall Fishing?

Hi Guys,
Hey I was wondering if any of you had ventured down to NC's Outer Banks for some late Fall fishing (thinking last week of November). My Dad has a place in Manteo, and wants me to come down and fish with him for a few days. He has a nice 21' Whaler but really hasn't had much luck down there, apparently the problem is you have to go 20+ miles out to have real luck, dangerous waters.....

If any of you have tried thislet me know!!!

Thanks,
Don

179, I haven't fished down there, but I was under the impression that there are alot of redfish and seatrout in the Carolinas, and that they were inshore thru most of the year.

A good idea might be to spring for a guided trip, which might open up a world of fish you and your dad didn't know about.

At the very least, you can find out what types of fish and fishing are around by seeing what types of trips are offered at that time of year. Those guys are generally pretty open and happy to answer questions.

Would be worth a shot.

Good luck if you decide to go.
