Spring Run

Lately I've read a lot of articles on big fish taken during the fall run (Sept-Nov), but rarely have I come across similar experiences during the spring. Does anyone have some good tales about some large May-June stripers?

50#... that'd be nice from shore. Hopefully there will be some cows crusing around NPT.

I was with a buddy and his brother last June; we were jigging off the Vineyard and we nailed 20-30lb fish on every pass.

This May I hope to catch a few of those in NPT (from shore).

I picked-up a lot of good tips and equipment this winter... I can't wait to use 'em.

Are the herring here yet?
