Well I hate myself for not making it down there. Went to Foxwoods last night with a bunch of friends and their wives. Someone forgot to tell me that the Limo wasn't leaving till 5am. Went to bed at 6:30 I tried to get up on 2 hrs. sleep but couldn't. My wife had all my food done and everything. I just couldn't get up.
I hope to meet everyone at TFCTFN.

Also pissed at my friends. They didn't think plugfest was important enough to leave the casino early.

Thumbs up

Scott, the work you and Larry did to put this together was a Herculean task to be sure and we all thank you two very, very much. Your generosity is beyond words as well. KarlF. who manned the raffle boxes deserves high praise also as does MikeCC for manning the ticket counter. And Karl, the needle will be abused and I will start the book tonight. I was bestowed with many fine examples of individuals workmanship yesterday and I am humbled, as always, by thier generosity as well. I only hope I can someday repay all your kindness. GloucesterTwo, that Original Danny plug has left me speechless and as you know thats something that does not come easily for me. A thousand Thanks you's. Eben, how the hell did we not get to talk? BBJ, were gonna ride the shadow line this year some night. PNG, you and me are gonna take my skiff along the islands and really put those plugs to work. Clammer, I can't wait, Monomoy is gonna be the balls in June. Young Salt, excellent work and Steelhead how did I not "ho" you? VB and AdamR. always a pleasure and VB I will think about the Bluestreaks. Capesams, well you know. Mac, I will get something together but don't expect it to be as good as yours but I will do my best. Slip, "HIGH FIVE"s all the way! Great day, came away satisfied, many fences mended and plans made. Can't wait till" next year!

Why even try.........

Salty, glad to be of help, I forgot to come see your table, oh well, see you at msba... next year, maybe some of the sponsors that sell plug supplies should have little booth areas selling supplies, some of the guys looking to get started were looking to part with some cash, I know they could have talked to a couple of you sponsors, that were there, (real sorry that NJT was late, shoulda stayed a bit longer), anyway, just a thought...

Flap, get a real comfy spot, lots of snacks, and something good ta drink, that book DRIFTING MEMORIES is an all-nighter.

CS, I'll pick you up a copy, I should see the author this week, will be in local stores next month..... lemon coco-nut note to self, next year, work the FOOD table!!!!
