got a 706z that i got off piemma a few weeks back. sweet reel, like new. only one problem, i didn't think to check on which hand it reeled with. i'm a lefty and reel with my right hand. oops. if i get $90 i'll sell it and find something else, if not i'll try it out and see how it goes. if you see me on the beach looking all screwey please don't laugh. sorry for the hijack but this is a sweet reel, maybe you'll want to move up.

What the diff between the 704 and 706? 706 is lighter and has drain holes in the rotar? cup, and holds 25 more yards? any thing else?

Chef, I have some older 704's, if thats what your looking for. I'll sell em for $35 each. They may need a little clean up, but you can replace anything on these cheap from a local shop. Ill be up in Newport this Saturday, so you can save on shipping them as well

Yep 704 greenie. reel 100% mechanically sound. Most parts I replaced not long ago. You can order the bail conversion kit from the surfcaster for short money. Reel has been used and its NOT nib. Some scratches some wear n tear, hell you should know what I put my reel through but most if not all the stuff that makes it tick is new. 40 bux

Hi Chef.
I have one that works fine, but not so pretty. I'm looking for $25 shipped or trade for 300 yds. 30# Fireline.

Cheferson,
I have a newer 704Z that I converted over to a manual.
It's your for $50 if you really want it (including manual bail kit). Box and instructions included. Reel is less than a year old and hardly used.
