Death Race 2000
I just saw this movie for the first time at 5am this morning on AMC. It was so disturbing I actually had to check the TV Guide and see if it was a real movie rather than a wierd dream.
There is no way this movie could be made today, the PC crowd would protest every scene!

Is that the one with Grasshopper where they run over pedestrians for extra points? Kinda like a prelude to GTA San Andreas

Thats the one, David Carradine plays Frankenstein and Sly stallone is Machine Gun Joe (I Think). and they drive in a race where every "kill" adds to their point total. Very Twisted movie

Spence, if you really want to get shaken up go out and rent all five volumes of Faces of Death.
p.s. Don't eat a steak while you're watching the movies.

Mmm monkey brains They have a documentery about the director, where he tells which scenes were fake and talks about the real ones.

What a remeber when...
I think I was all of 5 or 6 years old, at the drive-in, peaking over the backseat while I was supposed to be sleeping in my parents' station wagon. Saw that movie once and never forgot it.
