Orvis Mirage Users

There seems to be a glitch in there system because I just ordered the size 25 (.025) Mirage Fluorocarbon which is 52lb test and came up as $9.95. Usually it's $15.95. The other sizes like 21, 23, 27, 30 however come up as $15.95.

Just go to Orvis.com and use the item # si76p6

Hope it works for you.

I just tried it again and it worked for me. When you "select a value", 21 = 39lbs, 23 = 44lbs, 25 = 52lbs, 27 = 60lbs, and 30 = 80lbs. 30lb test is size 19. The 30 you saw relates to the diameter size which is 0.30. Hope that makes sense.

I bought the size 25 which is 52lbs at $9.95 a spool. The other larger sizes cost $15.95 for some reason.

Good luck!

Hopefully they wont send you a letter down the road stating you owe money. I ordered a watch from them once and they told me I paid too little for it(vs the catalog). I didnt even realize. The letter stated I sould be charged the rest. I thought that was bull.

I brouight it to their attention before I made the order because I wanted to make sure they won' t come back and try and get more money out of me. The representative was having the same price come up so he said that's what I pay. We'll see. If they say otherwise then I'll have to talk to some higher ups

I just ordered a few spools. I have been meaning to try this stuff out for a few seasons since I frst heard CH rave about it.
