Getting In Game Shape

The weather tomorrow is gonna be a beauty and its time for me to start getting my fishing muscles in shape! Gonna start out with some trout fishing.....that should shake the cob webs off a little! Who else is gonna be wetting a line this weekend?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Thumbs up

Gonna test swim some plugs tomorrow in Truro. I will if I get a hit.

I will DEFINITELY be out tomorrow testing out some new stuff.
I was thinking about trout, but I think I rather stand on the beach and cast to get myself in the surfcasting mind set again.

I've been atrying to knock off a few pounds...I've dropped 22 since the 1st of the year. Also gave up drinking for lent......See if that can knock a few off.

I need to get out and take a few casts just for sanity's sake this weekend. Maybe I'll tie my kids Gameboy to the end and cast it him see how hard he fights to get it back

Arrow it's also planting time

7 days earlier than the typical Saint Patrick's day deadline...

i have been walking up hill 1000 ft.with a 40lb or more 6 foot
oak log on my shoulder huffin and puffin to loose weight and get in shape and its working...not counting the splitting ,stacking ect.
the weight is starting to come off now... whoopie a freakin whole 2 pounds....

i gave up beer after new years too, at least the habbit of buying a six pack
every day or 2 ...occasionally i'll have a couple still ( if in celebration mode) but i cut down 90%.
and thats REAL good for a Scotsman.

i have an appointment for an MRI tomorrow I'm not liking this.
on the first warm day of spring too...... geeesch...

i'm not a maniac, but i like the challenge and the excercise.
the other thing is...i cant run the chainsaw at 5:00 am
but a log i can carry into the cellar and saw up on the chop saw
does the trick for a toasty fire on a very cold mornin.

Funny....you say trout fishing is for....let me get this right...."homos" yet...........you like fly fishing? Almost seems like the pot calling the kettle black!

Cause if I was to use your train of thought.....which in this instance is in 1/32 scale.........I would tell you my thoughts on fly fishing! But....I have more class than that because I know better than to ridicule the way someone else chooses to fish!

So......gonna go out tomorrow with one of my fishing buddies and catch some trout, maybe some salmon if I am lucky and hopefully plug up a few largies! Just gonna enjoy the day!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

See....there is one of my buddies that I would never dream of insulting due to the way in which he chooses to catch his fish.....that would be beneath me!

Go get em' Steve!
