..Anthony they should have called it a " Sea Bass " charter !!!..

...Maybe 5 Cod taken on the whole boat, the rest were mostly Sea Bass, a few monster Scup ( Porgy )...some flounder...a few Bloofish....a few Wolf~fish...and of course the unescapable Dogfish frenzy...

...My father was happy with the fish,..but I wasn't happy with the fishing ...( no, he didn't go ) ...not to mention..I almost got "GREEN ".. ...but I salvaged the trip with a little nap...and all was better..

You make it sound like a bad thing that you were catching sea bass and bloos and wolffish. That is still fun and sea bass are good eating. I never caught a wolffish so that would have been nice for me. Even though you didn't catch some cod be glad you caught something it could always be worse you could have gotten skunked!

I went freshwater fishing this afternoon which is something i seldomly do except during april as a warm up for saltwater but i caught a 2lb largemouth and a 4lb largemouth which happens to be the biggest i have ever caught. I also caught a big chain pickerel about 3lbs well its big to me thats another record breaker for me. can't you tell how much i fish freshwater? I had a lot of fun i didn't think i was gonna catch anything. So i will be headed back there tommorow morning for alittle more fun!! It gives me something to do since my saltwater season is over. I could go for togs but they are too easy to catch and most of the BIG togs are gone. So i'll give my fresh water pole a work out

The boys went out on their 19' boat out of Green Harbour on Friday and had 11 keepers (cod) to 14 lbs. They are out there and only a short distance offshore. I did the Andylynn the day after our short boat ride and got 6 keepers (3cod,3 haddock) but there was alot of complaining as many on the boat got none or a couple. Andy is a good trip as long as Andy is running it the other Capt. (Bob) likes to travel to the Flemish Cap and cuts your fishing time down alot but he gets into the haddock more. After the new year I may do another trip weather permitting.
