I have not seen any herring yet, but it felt GREAT to go and listen to the water spilling over into the run.
The Ospreys are back and working on their nests. This is a good sign indeed.

I have yet to see anything out in front of the house, except for the gannets. They have been around for a while now working something, no clue what though

Saw more Herring today at another run between Fall River and Providance. Also saw lots of gulls on the river bank near my house and that meens they are in the river for sure.

Those poor dead salmon never made it back to their spawning streams.
There is a lesson there.....
See what happens when you tangle with a swimsuit model?
There's no going back to familar spawning grounds. You'll end up a spent, dead fish at her feet, with your face in a rigor mortis-induced grin.
