Thumbs up Not-so-nastygram for Mike Mantia a/k/a Chubsdad

All:

To clear things up here.

Since I made a public complaint a few days ago about a reel that I had sold to Chubsdad, I am making a public acknowledgement of a favorable resolution to this matter.

I have received the money today.

Mike sent me a money order for $160.00. That's $20.00 more than the $140.00 I asked for the reel (which is what I paid for it).

In addition, Mike sent it to me via U.S. Express mail. It would have gotten to me yesterday had I been around to sign for it.

Mike contacted me and left me a voice mail two days ago indicating the above, even though I screamed at him and hung up on him twice when he tried to call me.

So, Chubsdad pulled through ... albeit after enduring one of my more ferocious temper tantrums.

Thanks Mike for making good on your promise, even if it was a bit late. You could have just sent me a check for $140 with a stamp on it, but everything is copacetic now.

Better late than never.

That is all, I will stop being an a$$hole for the time being.

That's great to hear. Everyone one of us have had "situations" in the past or present and sometimes they are tough to deal with. In the end Chubsdad was a man of his word and he made good on the deal plus some. Nice job Chubsdad. Now let's get this board back on track.

Thanks fishweewee for posting this update.

Would you consider a triple net lease on...........

Glad that's over with, now back to checking water temps.

I meant it was nice for Ben to post this. It was a nice thing for him to do to show that he got paid finally. I don't agree with ripping people off but it looks like Ben is over it.
