Black falcon terminal
Anyone do any fishing out here? Went out the other day when I was in the neighborhood and there were about a dozen people waiting to fish. I guess by the turnout that they are catching fish. I was in the area and have never been back there, is it ok or are there any restrictions?

I've been all through that end like 5:00 am .. only place had a problem and I only got the akward eye was when I went down and took a few cast by the police boats .. must of had me on video...other side of summer street good .. also did a little behind new court house fan pier .. friends working world trade catching before work behind there..Problem with all these spots is acually landing a decent fish .. not hooking up .. landing it ,,I don't do the bridge gaff thing ..Black Falcon is a good drop to the water..wouldn't want to finally hook up my 50 there ..Other places ,(behind world trade comes to mind ) is pilings .. these buildings are up on pilings and the fish go under and wrap all around ..There are fish all around there .. even the aquarium.. you'll get the akward eye there too .. good luck ..

I haven't gone in there since I got a coast guard 50 caliber maching gun escort out of there a week after the 9/11 bombings in N.Y.
I guess they thought I was planning on blowing up one of the cruise ships!!!

Are you sure it wasn't because of the "Go Raiders" sticker on your boat?

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Please be careful not to be too specific when speaking of any spot anywhere...the internet can overwhelm a spot and ruin the fishing for those that have put their time in and currently enjoy fishing there
TimTim...If you put your time in this area there are fish to be caught

Sorry Patrick
I just happen to go by, when I was working in the area. I did not mean to "spot Burn". But from the 20 guys sitting there I do not think I burnt anything.

I work on Black Falcon Ave and i am always out there in the morning before work and lunch time and to tell you the truth it is not a very productive place for fish. I am not saying this to turn you away! By all means go ahead and give it a shot... Just be prepare to get all kinds of faces from people there. I even got faces and didn't have a rod in my hand!

Black Falcon pier is big enough to accomidate 50,000 guys not to mention all the rest of the area Patrick ... Not like I stood on a stage at a MSBA meeting and burnt your spot ... where ever you can get in with a rod its like Boston Harbor ..

Patrick....you didn't have that much to say when a certain spot was torched...or close to it at our meeting last week? I was not happy about that and voiced it to the person I needed to but to no avail. There is alot less room there for fishing and we are alot closer to losing it than we are Black Falcon Terminal! Just spending my nickels worth.

nothing is impossible but chances are slim to none you'll land your trophy at Black Falcon .. I was just messing around before work .. wouldn't drive an hour to fish there..but if I'm ever homeless I got my spot all picked out...you can land them there and its a nice hang out ... that stays a secret ..

My original comments have been taken in a direction not intended so I am pulling my comments and stepping out of this thread...sorry for any misunderstandings
TimTim...you did nothing wrong asking your question and I was just tired of the hipocracy on this site....There is a spot in my town that is jhust getting wrecked due to the big mouths on the internet that all freak out when you mention any spot near where they fish

Patrick...I don't need to "get honest brother"....I might have gleened some local spots here and there but the backside was hard earned and I beat every inch of it without anyone giving me any of it....that includes TK. I been hanging out down there for over 20 years and have known each beach as a swimming spot before I thought of casting a line there. If TK did give me any tips it wasn't before 150 people at a meeting. I share much info with others....here and at the club. I don't need to name names.....I am more than generous and other have been so with me. We take care of each other because there is a mutual respect and if we do give up a spot its because we know that the reciever of info will respect the spot in regards to noise, pollution, resource and keep the spot "small" for obvious reasons.
Being a big mouth on the internet is no different than announcing to 150 folks that you are going to "X" spot and we should all meet and go there.
