Would love to get my hands on one of them as well! I can get one new but dont want to pay 2bills for it...my 965 is a girly man and cant handle $hit!

Man!! I didn't know they cost that much!! I have one on a custom Sabre 1088 wrapped by Mike at CCB&T (bought used in mint condition).........I never use it

You want to sell the reel??
There was an auction on e-bay for an elite with the auction ending on a saturday at 4:00am. I was getting upo at 2:00 to go fishing and was going to "snipe" the reel at 3:59 for 85$ new! i walked into the office to fire up the PC and decided not to but it for some STUPID reason.

Sniping is the only way to go. But use an automatic, you can do it days before and stick with what you think you would pay for it. If you win for less, so much the better.

No thanks. I have $250 in the combo and like I said. It's mint. The wraps on the rod match the reel. The power handle matches. It's pretty cool, I just have not used it!!
I did not realize that the reel was $180 alone. My combo should be worth more  |
