Notaro, not yet. The herring runs in the Falmouth area run late as opposed to a lot of others so they are scarce right now in these parts. The squid will show soon. By the second week of May they are usually in full swing but again thier stocks are down as compared to the old days when we would fish the jetties of Falmouth each night and if you didn't get a bass you would almost always have your rebel eaten by a squid. There are silversides in abundance in the ponds though.
on the jetties, steve? i thought that they need some kind of artifical lights on place and close to the deeper water?
that's cool, steve. im going to check it out this friday night. i will let you know. i hope that i wont run into a lot of vietnameses there. if they are there, then the squids are there.
