spk/ w the ranger station today and new passes will go on sale on Saturday the 28th. In state 50 bux, outta state 100 bux.

So will the old ones still be good until July 1? It used to be July 1 - July 1, I think. The price is the same as last year at least.

crmc barrier beach permits expire june 30th each year. they begin on july 1 as mentioned. the only place you can use them from april 15th-sept 15 is the back track in charlestown east beach. passes are $100 for out of stte residents and $50 for in-state, but i heard that may change someday.
althought they rarely check when you buy your pass, you are required to have all equipment mentioned on the sheet they provide. it's at least a $50 fine for each item you do not have if stopped. local police and dem can check.
